One day, a group of boys and girls walked up to her and said, " If you're so brave, we all dare you to go to the old graveyard at the back of Ol' Man Jenkins mansion all alone at midnight. Stand in front of a tombstone, rumor has it that if you do, a bony hand will reach out and grab you, dragging you underground! You said you were brave so that shouldn't be so hard! To prove that you actually went, stick a knife in front of a tombstone so in the morning, we'll know you were there." Of course, the girl couldn't refuse and agreed to the dare. At midnight, she did just as her classmates asked and went to the graveyard with a pocketknife. The night was cold and windy, blowing her dress, chills went up her spine. She slowly walked up to a tombstone and quickly stuck the pocket knife into the ground. She was beginning to feel not as brave as she thought she was. Turning around as fast as she could, she just wanted to get out of there right away! But, there was a problem. Something was stopping her from moving. Was it a bony hand trying to drag her down? A shrill scream was heard. The next morning, the boys and girls went to the graveyard to see if the girl had been there. To their horror, she was there, dead.

1) The girl was wearing a dress at the graveyard. It was dark, so she hadn't noticed where she stuck the knife in the ground. She accidently stuck it in her dress (and the girl DID NOT get hurt by the knife in any way). That is what prevented her from running away.

A man watches his friend walk slowly across a room, go through a door at the other end, and slam the heavy steel door behind him. The man knows that his friend is dead. There are no windows in the door or in the walls around it. His friend wasn't dieing as he walked across the room. Once there was a man and his wife and son. They were out sailing on the ocean when they got ship wrecked on an island. There was little on the island, few coconuts, small amount of clean water, and some pineapple. There were also quite a few pelicans, which the man thought was strange cause there was so little food on the island. Well one day his son died. They were devastated. The man and his wife tried to survive by eating the pineapples and trying to catch a pelican but never could catch one. When the man was close to death his wife had brought him some meat from a pelican that she had caught. He loved it and that saved his life. He was rescued by a helicopter and brought back to his city without his wife cause she had died before. So one day back in the city he went into a bar and he ordered a pelican sandwich to remind him of his wife. He took one bite and he went outside and shot himself. Why did he kill himself?

The Murder Of Ray Whitcombe
Ray Whitcombe is found dead in his office at his desk. The police have narrowed the suspects down to three people: Mrs. Barbara Whitcombe, Ray's wife; Mr. Jason McCubbins, Ray's business partner; and Mr. Harold Nichols, Ray's best friend. All three visited Mr. Whitcombe the day of his murder, but all three provide the police with stories of explanation as to the reason for their visit. But the pen was found in his right hand. Realizing that the number on the calendar was written in a hurry and with his opposite hand, police matched the written number with the months of the year.
