There were three friends- Jade, Alicia, and Damien, and they were playing a game called "I'm Going on a Picnic." The object of the game is to figure out the pattern of the objects listed.

(Jade starts, then Alicia and Damien-Assume that they could all go to the picnic.)

Jade: I'm going on a picnic. and I'm going to bring Ants.
Alicia: I'm going to bring Dogs.
Damien: I'm bringing some Juice.
Jade: Lemons.
Alicia: An Almanac.
Damien: Art.
Jade: Iguanas.
Alicia: Money.
Damien: Dirt.
Jade: Cats.
Alicia: Igloos.
Damien: Elephants...

What is the pattern?
Hint: Look at the first letters of what Damien says, then look at the first letter of what Jade and Alicia say. Think about it, but not too hard!
They were spelling out the name of the person who would go after them.

The Tenth Floor Elevator Riddle

A man lives on the tenth floor of a building. Every day he takes the elevator to go down to the ground floor to go to work. When he returns he takes the same elevator to the seventh floor and walks up the stairs to reach his apartment on the tenth floor. He hates walking so why does he do it?

Note that there is nothing wrong with the elevator or the design of the building. It's a perfectly normal elevator in a perfectly normal building.
Hint: The elevator is perfectly normal and the design of the building is perfectly normal, but there is something different about the man.
The man is very short (i.e. a little person).

Because of his short stature, the man is unable to reach any higher than the button for the 7th floor (elevator floor number buttons are laid out in descending floor order from top to bottom).

Then, they went to the mental hospital to question the 7th survivor, but they couldnt get any sense out of him. When they asked him what happened to the missing climber, he just kept banging his head against the padded walls and repeating over and over, 8.. 8 8... What does this mean?
