I am quite possibly the worst day of the week, I'm not Friday. The day after me isn't Friday, the day after the day after me isn't Friday either. What day am I?

My tail is wavy and my face is quite blotted.
I relay much emotion though flatly I'm spotted,

My only timepiece is a wall clock. One day I forgot to wind it and it stopped. I went to visit a friend whose watch is always correct, stayed awhile, and returned home. There I made a simple calculation and set the clock right. How did I do this when I had no watch on me to tell how long it took me to return home from my friends house?

It is Wednesday. If it was any other day of the week, more than one statement would be true. To solve the riddle, evaluate each person's statement and write down what day it could be according to the statement. David's statement indicates it could be any day of the week except for Wednesday. You go and get it, but when you come back you find your sleeping bag is missing. You then find out you forgot your tent.
