Footprints Between Two Parallel Lines Riddle
A man was found dead out in a field of snow. The only tracks that were left was a set of footprints between two parallel lines. Who should the police be looking for?
Hint:
Poor Mr. Teddy
Poor Mr. Teddy was found dead in his study by Mr. Fiend.
Mr. Fiend recounted his dismal discovery to the police:
I was walking by Mr. Teddys house when I thought I would just pop in for a visit. I noticed his study light was on and I decided to peek in from the outside to see if he was in there. I walked through the snow towards the window, and I had to wipe the condensation off the window to see inside. That is when I saw his body. I kicked in the front door to confirm my suspicions of foul play. I called the police immediately afterward.
The officer immediately arrested Mr. Fiend for the murder of Mr. Teddy.
How did he know Mr. Fiend was lying?

Condensation forms on the inside of the window in the winter, not on the outside. So Mr. Fiend could not have wiped it off to discover Mr. Teddys body. Did you answer this riddle correctly?

The Man With 3 Caskets
You are going to a place called Transylvania for a trip. You meet a man with three caskets. The first one is made of lead, the second one is made of silver and finally third one is made of gold. Now in one of there is a Dracula! And each of these three caskets have an inscription. At most one inscription is true.
You have to figure out, which one the Dracula is in. The following caskets inscription goes like this...
First one is Lead Casket: It says: Dracula is Here
Second one is Silver: It says: Dracula is not Here
Third one is Gold: It says: Dracula is not in the second one
So the question is: Where is the Dracula?
You have to figure out, which one the Dracula is in. The following caskets inscription goes like this...
First one is Lead Casket: It says: Dracula is Here
Second one is Silver: It says: Dracula is not Here
Third one is Gold: It says: Dracula is not in the second one
So the question is: Where is the Dracula?
Hint: If the first casket is true, that would make all 3 true
In the 3rd coffin it says dracula is not in the second one. If this is true, that would lead the second to be true as well. Therefore they all lie and Dracula is in the second one (AKA silver) Did you answer this riddle correctly?

Going To St. Ives
As I was going to St. Ives,
I met a man with seven wives,
Each wife had seven sacks,
Each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits:
Kits, cats, sacks, and wives,
How many were there going to St. Ives?

Hint:
One. As John McClane learns, this is a classic trick question. If the narrator meets the group on the way to St. Ives, then they must be going in the opposite direction and the math calculations are simply a bit of trickery meant to misdirect. Did you answer this riddle correctly?

Shoe Man Whistle
Hint:
The third equation has a term with a pair of whistles. The last line involves a single whistle.
Furthermore, the man in the second and third lines are wearing a whistle, but the man in the last line is not wearing a whistle. Presumably the value of the whistle should be accounted for to get the correct answer.
The pictures can be translated into the following equations:
shoes + shoes + shoes = 30
shoes + (man + whistle) + (man + whistle) = 20
(man + whistle) + 2(whistles) + 2(whistles) = 13
shoes + (man) x (whistle) = ?
From the first equation we can solve for the shoes value:
shoes + shoes + shoes = 30
3(shoes) = 30
shoes = 10
We can then solve the second equation for the (man + whistle) value:
shoes + (man + whistle) + (man + whistle) = 20
10 + 2(man + whistle) = 20
2(man + whistle) = 10
man + whistle = 5
Then we solve the third equation for the whistle:
(man + whistle) + 2(whistles) + 2(whistles) = 13
5 + 4(whistles) = 13
4(whistles) = 8
whistle = 2
We also need to solve for the value of the man:
man + whistle = 5
man + 2 = 5
man = 3
Now we can evaluate the final expression, remembering the order of operations that multiplication should be evaluated before addition:
shoes + (man) x (whistle) = ?
10 + 3 x 2
= 10 + 3 x 2
= 10 + 6
= 16 Did you answer this riddle correctly?

A Man In New York City
A man in New York City has $10. He spends $6.50 on flowers, and $3 on lunch (hot coffee and a hot dog). He then gets on the subway which will take him 7 stops for 50 cents. But he is forced to get off of the subway just 5 stops away from where he began.
Why is this?
Why is this?
Hint:
When he gets on the subway it is 6 stops away from the end of the line (end of the track). So when it reaches this point it begins to work backwards. So when it goes back one stop he has traveled 7 stops but is only 5 away from where he began. Did you answer this riddle correctly?
